OMG I finished this book and I love it soooooooooooo much. I was expecting alot from this book considering the review it got and IT LIVED UP TO IT EXPECTATIONS!!! I'M SO HAPPY I READ THIS BOOK IT WAS EVERYTHING I COULD HAVE WANTED. I was nervous when it got slow in the middle (thats why I gave this book 4 stars) but the ending was amazing
The main character, Mare was a cross between, America(the selection) and Celeana (throne of glass) I didn't really care for her character at the beginning but she grew on me alot.
DID ANYONE THINK MAVEN WAS BAD? I WAS SO SHOCKED. MARE SAID MAVEN HELP ME UP AND MAVEN SAID I DON'T THINK SO!!! EVERYTHING JUST CLICKED THE I WAS SO SHOCKED AND SURPRISED AND MAD AND HAPPY CAUSE I KINDA WANTED HER TO BE WITH CAL AT THE BEGINNING. I KINDA FIGURE THE KIRLON LIKES MARE AND THERE WILL BE A LOVE TRIANGLE IN THE NEXT ONE. I WAS DYING WHEN WE FOUND OUT HER BROTHER WAS ALIVE.
I just hope it doesn't follow the path of Divergent too much in the book to come. I also thought about what if mare becomes so crazy about killing Maven that she kills her self in the process, i'll cry.
ALSO CAN WE JUST TAKE A MOMENT TO LOOK AT THE COVER!! LIKE HOW BEAUTIFUL IT THAT!! HAVE YOU GUYS NOTICED THE SYMBOLS ON THE INSIDE COVER, ITS THE RED DAWN AND SILVER FLAG (I THINK)
